Yale University Art Gallery Signage December 2012

Project Projects has worked with the Yale University Art Gallery since 2010 to conceptualize and design a comprehensive wayfinding and signage system for the Gallery. Reopened as of December 2012, the newly renovated gallery rejoins three different buildings that have a high level of spatial complexity. The extensive wayfinding and signage system is intended as a light overlay that complements the existing architecture. Accordingly, the signage both creates a clear sense of navigation throughout the galleries while enhancing the visitor’s experience of both the space and its artworks.
