This catalogue presents two installations at the Guangzhou Museum by the Norwegian art group Verdensteatret. Their work—dense kinetic installations populated by robots created out of electronic junk—is immersive and time-based. Building on this, the catalogue begins and ends with dramatic full-image sections of each installation, with all essays and contextualizing materials in the center of the book. Two separate flip-books show the installations in motion. The book's typographic system employs a classical serif in conjunction with the 1990s typeface Dead History. At once refined and mixed-up, the two typefaces play with and off one another as they form the basis for book's essays and accompanying texts.
