Stray Alchemists, curated by Kate Fowle, was the first international exhibition at the Ullens Center of Contemporary Art, Beijing. Highlighting the artists’ interest in experimentation, the catalogue presents both finished installation views and process images on alternating coated and uncoated paper stocks. The symmetrical book structure suggests the possibility of front-to-back and back-to-front reading. In addition to designing the catalogue, Project Projects developed exhibition graphics and a format for print materials for the Ullens Center.
